is Magic Full Release the same thing as Magic Performer ?

is Magic Full Release the same thing as Magic Performer ? I'm thinking it is but would just like to make real sure before going thru the trouble of installing ...I already have Magic Performer 1.65

The Performer and Studio editions refer to which features you paid for. The Performer edition unlocks more features. But both editions are accessed from the full release.
When you install the full release, and enter your product key, the software automatically determines which edition you get (based upon what you purchased).
The edition is shown in the first line of the About box: Help > About (Windows) or Magic > About (OS X).

The "opposite" of the full release is the demo, because the demo has restricted features -- it doesn't let you save projects, and it has a branded watermark after 30 days.
