im curious about the upgrade offer that was originally offered for Magic 3.x first round & the 2nd round thats just been offered
so in my case i have a old PC computer 4770k + 2070super and i also run a M4 mac mini
i purchased the 3.x version on the first round
when i upgraded to the MMV 3.x from the MMV 2.x does this allow me to run the 2.x on my PC and run 3.x on my m4Macmini??
currently my older m1 mac mini has the working license of MMV 2.x... and i've waited until now to ask this question as there is a second round of 100 licenses on offer,
i have not bothered to install MMV 3.x on my m4macmini at this point in time ...as teething issues might still exist, but given the email offer is out..
what are the limitations of the new upgrade license, that took place, in respect to dual machines?

Question about Upgrade and using software on dual machines
Re: Question about Upgrade and using software on dual machines
Yes, you can still use your v2 license independently on a different computer than v3.
Re: Question about Upgrade and using software on dual machines
thanks for the quick response!! thats great to know....
one more question
if i purchased another upgrade license under my 2.x, will that give me x3 licenses for use on 3 maschines...ie x1 MMV 2.x license + x2 MMV3.x licenses??
or is this something you frown upon?

Re: Question about Upgrade and using software on dual machines
You can only upgrade a v2 license once.
