UI glitch

Post by Sadler »

A small UI glitch is present on parameterless nodes that have annotation. The noodle misses the pin which happens when the node is being minimised or maximised but disappears when the noodle is moved in any way.
When minimising or expanding node with annotation and no parameters.

After wiggling noodle goes back to how it should be.

Doesn't inhibit operation in any way but I haven't seen it reported before.

Can't seem to reproduce this one. Can you describe the exact steps?

Start with a new composition.
Show Annotation for Magic node.
Minimise the Magic node and you'll notice the connector move by a small amount.
Connect any node to the Magic node then minimise the Magic node - the noodle remains connected but doesn't connect to the dot.

Still can't get it. This is what we did:
- new empty project
- show Annotation for Magic module
- minimize Magic module
- add Polygon module as input to Magic module
- toggling minimize/maximize on the Magic module works as expected.

If that's not what you did, please edit my steps. Or provide a video?

Note I also tried at max UI zoom which didn't exhibit this behaviour.

Ok, got it now. We realized it happens when the "Don't Minimize Annotations" option is enabled.
