Random video's with random blend mode ?

Hi,

I'm investigating the right tool for some visuals I need for a showcase performance for my BA(Hons) Creative Music Technology.

Can Magic Music Visuals do this ?

Load a folder of video files and randomly select video's to be mixed together. Cross fading from one to another, but also randomly selecting a blend mode to mix the video's together (such as Difference or Multiply).

Hi Michael, yes, it is possible to do this using two Video Folder nodes but you'd have to sync up the two nodes with their cross-fade. A simpler option is to have one video folder in a scene and another in a different scene and cross-fade between them using the playlist. You're not clear whether you want the blend modes as the cross-fade or randomly mixed.
