With a midi file, how to create this scene: the notes of the midi file scroll to the left on a staff?

I couldn't access your video. I know little about midi but the video below was created in Magic with a midi file. You'd need a single channel of just the notes you want displayed in instantaneous duration for each note so as not to make a mess. It would be very challenging to generate a clean 'score' type visual with any notation except the very simplest. You might have more success creating an image of the score and scrolling that across the screen - still has its own challenges (timing esp.) and how to reveal the notation. Better doing it the long way (manual timing).
