I've been using and more 3d models in Magic and I'm wondering what is the most stable way to get textures working correcting in Magic. I feel i have had the most success with OBJs and MTLs but I still get objects that dont work with their materials all the time.. Just wondering if Magic has a preferance with this kind of stuff

The only experience I've had with this is exporting out of MagicaVoxel. For MMV to load the material you need to make sure of two things:
1. There is an object (obj), a material (mtl) and a palette (png).
2. There are no spaces (and probably no non-ascii) in the filenames.
Apologies if your question is beyond my experience.

Magic's support for textured objects is pretty general, meaning it should work for most formats... which ones are you having trouble with?

Im not sure Eric honestly. I feel like some 3d models work perfect within Magic, then others look weird and dark in areas they shouldnt, etc. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this or found a method that works 100% of the time with 3d models
