I noticed an inconsistency in the selection behaviour : ctrl-lmb does add multiple unselected objects to the selection. so does ctrl-boxselect (by boxselect i mean dragging a selection area over objects). ctrl-lmb does also correctly remove multiple selected objects from the selection, but ctrl-boxselect does not. which i would find useful. for example if you needed to make room for new modules somewhere in bewteen, you could select all, deselect the ones you dont want (with a boxselect) and then move stuff .

Yeah, that's something I've been meaning to fix . Drag-selecting things is surprisingly tricky to get right sometimes.

you could also go for a different convention. shift-lmb/drag for adding, ctrl-lmb/drag for removing.
