Noobie help: Midi & inputselector module

Post by stolenfat »

Brand new to the magic music visuals and just purchased a license after a fun weekend with the demo.

I have a small question to ask the community since I'm fairly new to the program: I was finally able to get my hands on a midi controller and wanted to use a fader/knob to control the input# value of the inputselector module. My problem lies with the midi value locked to values between 0 and 1 while I need values 0 through 5 to get access to all the inputs. Is there a method to change the midi value range on my slider to reflect 0 to 5 rather than 0 to 1?

to those whom reply: thanks for your time!

I think i answered my own question!

Adding the modifier: scale with a value equal to the number of inputs allowd me to increase the effective range to pot through the inputs. Awesome.
