Simple color loop ?

Post by tacotac »

Hi all,

I've been playing around for two weeks with this fantastic software. I'm overall highly satisfied with its potential and user interface.
I'm however facing a rather frustrating issue :D

I did not find yet an effective way to simply animate and loop without transitions the colors of polygon, like blue for 1 sec, white for 1 sec, red for 1 sec, blue again… and so on.

I did it with a JPG folder including color1.jpg, color2.jpg and color3.jpg files, but the fans of my computer were going like crazy after a few minutes. So I was wondering if there was not a cleaner alternative like using only one color module and tweaking some positive/negative offsets, hold/delay, or other parameters.

May someone highlight the path of my ignorance pleeeaaase?
Thank you thank you !

Here's one way. Use an INPUT SELECTOR module and a combination of INCREASE and STEP modifiers. By using a DELAY, or a different INCREASE factor, you can adjust the timing.

You're welcome. You'll find this is a pretty responsive community, and Eric, the programmer checks in pretty much every day. Have fun!
