How about a Status Information option to show the current scene name, and playlist entry number if active?

It would put the frame rate display in context and be handy when the Editor or Playlist is not visible, when eg running fullscreen on a single-screen system. I wouldn't mind what it did during a transition.

Sure that sounds reasonable. I've been meaning to get a nicer font into the status display. So far I've been using a very primitive font I created myself (because I don't want it to use too much GPU power), but it doesn't have all the characters implemented .

Overall though, more text probably won't affect things too much, especially if I make it optional.
