Magic Music Visuals

Hi everyone,

I am new on this forum and a new user of magic, i just bought it like minutes ago because i fall in love with the softwareé So i am very new to visuals concept as i make music usually. I am making all of my music using Renoise (A wonderfull software you should check out). But now i was feeling for learning something new and i have to say that Magic is very powerfull and very intuitive.

So here is maybe simple things that are a little harder to find for a newbie like me that your could help me with :

How to make an inverted ramp modulation
How to increase the amplitude of a modulation
How can i reduce the speed of the randomization modulation

How to make an inverted ramp modulation

Have a look at this tutorial: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11, which explains how to invert any value.

For a Ramp specifically, you would just put the Scale and Offset modifiers afterwards. Like this:

How to increase the amplitude of a modulation

For that you would just use the Scale by itself. Like this:

How can i reduce the speed of the randomization modulation

Currently there isn't a way to do that, but it is on my list of things to add .

Actually, you can slow the randomization, by placing an 'average' modifier atfter it. A value of around 0.5 seems to work as a starting point. It isn't exactly slowing it down into regular sized chunks though.
