bugreport 1.6b (beta)

Post by blackdot »

hi there, i'd like to report a bug, or potentially unintential behaviour.

description & steps to reproduce:
- rightclick on scene tab
- click rename
- try to select parts of the name with the mouse
- results in grabbing the tab instead of selecting text

unless this is intentional of course :)

I've found another bug in the 32bit version on Windows 8.1, though this one seems more whimsical than worrying:

If a scene has the same name as a module, when you add that scene as a module to another scene, the scene module contains the control options as the module it's named after. For example:

Rename "Scene 0" to "ColorHSB"
Add Polygon directly to Magic (to be able to visually identify the output of "ColorHSB")
Create New Scene
In Scene 1, add Scene "ColorHSB" directly to Magic
It will output the contents of scene "ColorHSB" properly, but display Hue, Saturation, Brightness, and Alpha parameters.

I'm uploading a picture of what this looks like on my screen.

Thanks, good catch :). I discovered that bug myself recently, so it should be fixed in v1.61 (just released). I made it so you can't name a scene the same as an existing module.

If you still find any related issues in 1.61, please let me know!
