Magic Music Visuals

Hi everyone, some of you might have seen a video I posted to YouTube recently. (Make sure you click the gear icon after starting playback, and select 720p60 mode -- otherwise the quality isn't that good.)
I wanted to share the project I used to create the video. Normally it's hard for me to share projects because I can't find good license-free songs, but I recently discovered that YouTube has a free audio library (https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music), so I used one of their songs.

A few notes:

• Magic 1.6 or later is required.
• Some of Vidvox's ISF effects are required. You can download them here: http://vidvox.net/rays_oddsnends/ISF%20files.zip and follow this tutorial to install them: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=412
• I intentionally lowered the graphics resolution of the project to 640x360, because it's pretty complex and needs a fast graphics card to run at 1280x720 or higher. But you can increase the resolution if you have a nice graphics card.

Once the project is loaded, press Ctrl+Shift+Space (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Space (OS X) to play the audio and start the playlist. Or, if you want, you can use the File > Export Movie command to get a really high-quality .mp4 movie of it.

Other than that, I don't have too much to say about it. Hopefully you'll find it instructive, and feel free to reply if you have any questions.

I am new to all of this and not programming savvy. I really want to create something similar to a sample video from this site - the video demonstrating custom frequency bands with different colors.

I don't suppose that this is a templated project that exists somewhere here that i can download and edit?

In fact it is! Just select Help > Open Sample Project and choose "StereoSpectrum_30Band.magic".
