Hoping to hire a tutor

Hello,
I have played with MMV extensively. I have studied several sample projects, and I understand how they work.
But what I would like to understand better is:
1) How do pros decide which features to use?
2) How to setup a scaffold for a good music video?
3) Which parameters are most worthwhile to tweak?
I would like to hire a tutor for 1-3 sessions.
- I will choose an .MP3 file, and we'll start the process of creating a video together.
- You'll show me how you start, based on the sound of the music.
- Which modules you add, in which order
- How you think about the design of the overall project.
