Discovering MMV

This is mostly a shoutout to the devs, and an observation.
I discovered MMV about a week ago, and I've been looking for it since maybe 2015...this software specifically, but not intentionally. I have seen videos that I now understand came directly from this software based on some of the older templates. The users whose content I discovered seemed very secretive about it. I'm not mad at them, but dang this is what I was looking for and could have saved hundreds of hours (and dollars) using everything from RedGiant, BorisFX, PixelFilmStudios, Adobe AE, Apple Motions, etc. While AE is quite good, real-time rendering and the plethora of possibilities is just unmatched in my category of needs.
My main objective was to provide some visual stimulation to music synthesizer demos, like what ReFX does for Nexus expansions on YouTube. Now I'm down a few rabbit holes about ISF, GLSL, and feel inspired to relearn some math.
What baffles me is why it has been so hard to find this site. Maybe I overlooked it a long time ago. If it wasn't for an obscure reddit post I'd still be in the dark. There's probably a thousand nerds like me wondering if something like MMV exists. You fill a great niche and need more exposure.
