Blur; Output Mix and Fx Timing Question

Hi,
I have 3 questions. I use MMV for fx on simple music videos of me playing an instrument and/or singing.
1) Is there a gaussian blur? I saw a radio and noise blur under 2D Fx, but not a gaussian one?
2) Is there a way to "mix" the inputs into the main output? The main out being the box that says MAGIC at the end.
So..... I can route a input video directly to the main out.
I can route the same input video to some fx block, and then to the main out.
How can I mix, or set the opacity of the 2, or more, inputs into the main out?
Can I change the mix over time?
3) If I want to use an fx block, but just at a certain time or place in the video. For example if I have a 3 minute music video and I want a glitch fx at say 22 seconds, 1:12 seconds and then at 2:43 seconds..... how to do that? Is there some example project that shows how to do this? I know you can make global variables; but how would you watch the timeline of the video and compare it, or test it to see if it has reached a certain time and then turn on the glitch fx?
Thanks
AJ
