Magic crash using VideoCaptureDS (VideoCapture OK)

Post by Terry Payman »

I tried a cheap HDMI USB video capture card.

Magic Performer v2.33 64-bit almost always crashes (disappears) if I use VideoCaptureDS module to select the capture card, but all works OK if I use the VideoCapture module. Same behaviour on my Windows 10 laptop and a Windows 11 desktop. The capture card works OK in OBS.

I bought this card in the UK https://www.amazon.co.uk/capture-Papeas ... B0BL3HVMWW
For North America this looks to be the same except for the colour https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091NX24PC
