Possible to achieve this effect?

I know it's a kind of dithering effect, but the ISF 'Dither/Bayer" isn't really doing it and I know there must be more to it. I think the actual video uses After Effects, but I'm just wondering if there's a plugin for MMV that can achieve the same or near.

Thanks.

I reckon it's more Floyd-Steinberg. Use a Resolution node to increase the dither effect.

Appreciate the reply - is that available in MMV? I haven’t seen it. Thanks.

Cool, thanks. I was familiar with that ISF site, but I guess not with which kind of dithering I needed. I've been messing around with it - definitely close to what I was after. The main issue I'm having is getting that 'refined' look like the video, with very few lines around the objects. It's always very 'messy' with way more dots than I want. I'm thinking it's a lot to do with the source video/graphics being adjusted properly to have the right contrast etc, especially where there's his face and the dots are very cleanly outlining the shape of it without any excess noise.
