3 music lyrics videos [update]

Some of you may remember that I'm always looking for new ways to visualize the lyrics for my songs without having to work on the visuals for weeks.

Here are links to 2 songs with lyrics:
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IPbPx0mk5E

Feedback as always appreciated 8-)

Update: added a similar video but with a nice page-turning effect (realized with ISF) at the start of each chorus, see last post below.

Thought the talk part of the vocal is great. Thinking it would be great to have magic ingest srt for lyrical songs or poetry.

[ Sorry for the late reply, life got in the way in a not so nice way ]

Thanks for the positive feedback, Sadler.
I would LOVE to have a module for lyrics/text with a simple(!) way to time each line of a text, e.g. each line has 2 fields, one for the text and one for the timestamp.

Very good work; Thumbs up from me on YT - do these lyrics actually come from MMV - I would love some advice on how to achieve this... :)

Thanks for your feedback here and on YouTube.
Unfortunately MMV can't do anything like that, but https://www.calligrapher.ai/ can.
Everything else is MMV with GFX from me.

Great work - I enjoyed that, can I ask again in regards to www.calligrapher.ai - how do you add the exported svg file to MMV?

Keep the videos coming ;)

SVG never really worked the way I wanted it to, so I took a different approach: I recorded the output with a free tool (here: SimpleScreenRecorder for Ubuntu) while the song was playing, so that my main problem (synchronizing the text with the song) was solved automatically and without much work.

Synchronizing the lyrics with the audio is usually a big PITA, and doing it this way the complete lyrics were about 10 minutes of work.

Ah, that's what I ended up doing in W10, screen-capturing and adding movie to MMV, changing background to green to use chromakeyfast to isolate text although that does slightly make the black lyric text slightly lighter (any help with that?)

So with having a character limit count of just 50 on www.calligrapher.ai - as you played your audio did you copy and paste each line in as it played?

I recorded the text in black font on a white background and used LumaKey (with the 'Invert' box checked) for the separation.
And, yes, I copied and pasted every line.
If a song is really fast and has a lot of lyrics, I do it with a slowed down version of the song (and speed up the resulting video again, of course).
