Fonts not showing

Hey there...I have a collection of dingbat fonts. I want to use them for animation purposes. So I add a "Text" module. But when I want to select the font, only a small selection (all fonts with names from a - n) shows up.

I'm confused...

Any hints?

even something similar happened to me, I miss some fonts that I loaded in Windows.

Do you have a lot of fonts? How many?

I have perhaps more than a hundred ...
There is no shortage from a letter onwards but some of the letter "d" (I noticed it because I needed it specifically and that I did not find), then continue with the "c" etc ...

I have not checked the other letters but probably also lacking on the others.

The strange thing is also that the drop-down menu has widened laterally.

Hmm, ok. If it doesn't cut off at a certain letter, then I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe certain fonts aren't compatible? Could you post a link for me to download one of the fonts that isn’t working?

I checked all the fonts better and two gave the error:

"Frames 'n Riboons" and "Destiny's Decorative"

I had to delete them from the folder.

HI! I got the same problem. There are tons of fonts installed (Windows 11).
Magic showed only some (not all) from A-B.
The name of the last font in List isn't readalbe, so I can't delete it to test.
And I don't know how I should test my TTF's for any Errors, Magic confused.
Is the font regular name or the fonts filename to long?

I'm searched for a method to check fonts for possible errors.
All my other programs like Office and old Fireworks 4.0 works fine with all fonts from A-Z.

Whould be funny to solve this problem!

I found the solution! Its an error done by windows system. you must stop the cache font service, delete the fontcache and restart service. After I get my 580 fonts to use!

I just ran into the same issue and I think I figured out what the problem is.

In my case the problematic font was called "Coder's Crux", and the thing that sets it apart from all other fonts I have installed is the single quote character. Deleting the font fixed the selection menu, but it would be cool if this bug was fixed.

This would also track with Franco08s solution, since their offending fonts also contained the quote character and deleting them fixed the issue as well.
