Long videos not rendering

Hello all

I’m having an issue where long videos can’t be opened via a player after rendering
It appears it’s rendering alright but I can’t open the rendered file

Does anybody know how to fix this?

How long a video are you trying to export? What format? What are the file sizes after render? Have you tried a different codec? What platform?

The video is just over 10 minutes

I’m encoding as mp4 and the file size is just under 4gb

I'm pretty sure mp4s can't be larger than 4GB. Maybe try another format?

FAT32 maximum file size is 4GB.

With filesystems like NTFS or Apple APFS this is a thing of the past.

Maybe the thread creator tells us what hardware he has under which operating system.

Just FYI, my longest mp4 rendered by MMV is 12 GB, filesystem is NTFS.
