Please forgive what I expect to be a very dumb question. I have an image that I want to slowly de-pixelate over a period of time. I don't want the de-pixelation to occur in time with the audio, I just want a gradual de-pixelation to happen (for example; from an Amount value of 0.09 to 0) over about a 10 second period.
Is there an easy way of doing this?

Use a ramp then an invert on the pixelation level. Adjust the value of the ramp to change the speed of the transition.

And by doing this, can I stipulate a start and end value (and speed) of the value that the ramp produces?
As a work-around (and in the meantime) I've created a wav file of a sine-wave frequency sweep (of the required duration) and I'm using that as a source - which is sort of doing what I want when I add the appropriate 'offset' and 'scale'.

With a combination of scale and offset you can create almost any range.
