How do I copy scenes from one Magic project to another?
1. I tried to open two instances of Magic and it does not seem to be allowed.
2. For now I take screen shots of the scene I want to copy in project one, close it and open project two, and manually recreate the scene.
Any tips appreciated!

The Users Guide describes how to export and import scenes. Basically what you can do is save one or more scenes to their own project, and you can then import those into another project or just open them as a standalone project.
