This is kind of a 3D noob questions, but here goes:
Is it possible to import 3D models into Magic and automate the movement of the camera around a scene?
I'd like to use something like this from SketchFab:

Think it would make an awesome Magic video backdrop.

3D Models in Magic
Re: 3D Models in Magic
You could. Large models would take some moments to load however. You cannot automate a camera per se, but you can rotate and transform models thereby effectively moving the camera.
You would be better off using a a shader to simulate galaxies rather than polygons.

Re: 3D Models in Magic
Or render it in Blender and bring it in as a video file.
Re: 3D Models in Magic
Thanks for the suggestions. It doesn't appear that I can import the glTF model and the only choice I have is to use the Poly (.ply file).
However, it doesn't show anything when I add a Geometry model and choose the ply file. I've tried using different background colors thinking it was rendered as the same color as the background but that didn't help either.
I think I'll give Blender a go and see what I can pre-render there.
Thanks!
