MIDI switching

Hello,
I'm looking for a solution to the following case: I have 5 midi keys (1,2,3,4,5) and I'd like them to toggle a multimix module, in such a way that the output "sticks" until another midi replaces. I recognize that the playlist operates like this, yet I'd like to use it in a module, utilizing modifiers.
