Display Capture as video input?

Hello,

I've been reading the manual and have trouble finding anything on display capture as a video input

Is this possible?

Basically I have a video file, but I also want the audio from that file to be a source
So I figured if I could play the video on one screen with display capture I could also have my computers default audio as the input

I am using automated effects as well as midi triggered effects so that is why I cant just use the export function.

There are several ways to get the display from another computer into Magic, but I would suggest you split the audio from the video and use them separately in Magic.

Is it possible to get the audio to play at the exact same time as the video?

When I import an audio file it has a play button that isn’t midi addressable like the “Go to start” on the video file

Use the Internal playback time value to sync the video start with the audio.
