I'm looking to plug in a separate device for my music library
via video screen capture.
What I'm hoping to accomplish is that the device will activate with the motion from its remote, then automatically fade-out with inactivity after a specified amount of time.
I successfully hooked up the capture device. As a test, I used audio volume as the activate when on/fade out when off (using the transparency module). It works great!
But I'm wondering if I can do the same with motion, instead of audio (I don't want the device to show while audio is playing, only when choosing music).
Or, a keystroke to turn on/off the capture device. That would also work for me. Is there a way to program keystrokes to turn on/off a module?
Thank you!
Can video capture module be activated by motion?

There's an Android app that turns camera input into OSC.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... et.videosc
You can use any midi or OSC device to turn off or bypass any module.
