Can i swap images while playing a song?

Hello i'm planning on frame by frame animating using only images like those old fashion cartoons, and i'm a little stuck on this problem. Is it possible to switch images during song playback to the point that it looks like animation?

Yes that is what the JpegFolder module is for.
