Colour coding modules

When a scene gets too busy with modules and becomes hard to identify its different sections, we can use a neat trick to colour code the modules.

-Select the module or group of modules that you want to tag with colour.
-Right click for contextual menu and select 'Show Annotation'.
-Right click for contextual menu and select 'Annotation BG', select the colour you like.

Just bear in mind that on a module minimised we lose the colour code.
and that it seems that CMD+Z won’t work to undo the colour code of the Annotation BG.

Thanks for the workflow tip - I should use coloured annotations more than I do.

You should note, however, that you can keep annotations visible (including their colour) even when minimised. I use this quite a lot just to keep minimized modules a little bigger (to maintain layout).

Fantastic, had no idea about the "Don't Minimize Annotations" option, I barely access that part of the menu. But that tip is also very helpful, thanks.

I see what you mean about the layout, it seems to make quite a difference on it once that option is activated, and IMO is more pleasant to the eye.

Cheers!
