Is there a way to include additional transitions and blending modes? Say if want to crossfade from one scene to another but control the fade in and out timing or apply an effect to the cross fade?

You can control the transition timing with the duration box: http://magicmusicvisuals.com/downloads/ ... ransitions. Or is that not what you mean?
