BUG: Video File module not working!

Hello all,
please help.

clicking the three dots does not open the "Select a file..." browser window. It does nothing at all.
I tried the same in the Image module and others and it works fine, the browser window opens.
I've reinstalled and updated magic, restarted my computer to no effect.
Can I get an older build of Magic somewhere? Or a link to another downloadable module that can do the same things? I'm really stuck, have got a show on Friday and don't know what to do. Thanks in advance!
