Magic Music Visuals

Hello everyone!

Really looking forward to use this seemingly nice software but I'm stuck at the very beginning. Using Mac Pro with High Sierra 10.13.6. I have 2 problems:

1) Picked up .mp3 (tried .wav) also as source, inserted Waveform module, Source 0 chosen which is pointing to mp3 0 or wav 0. I assume 0 and 1 are left and right channels? Connected Waveform to Magic module, pressing Play button for the file - nothing happens, it doesn't play although I can move position slider for the audio. Seems like Magic can't recognize sound output hardware which is Maya 44 USB, which works flawlessly in other programs.

2) Probably not related to Magic but I don't see Microphone input in Sound preferences for the system. As far as I understand, it should be displayed when I connect it to input/output port on Mac Pro.

Already tried shutting down and plugging out power cable for 15 secs.

Some rare sound cards are not compatible with Magic for as yet unknown reasons. I think I remember someone mentioning the Maya at some point.

In the meantime I’d suggest selecting your built-in output in System Preferences.

As far as I know, Mac Pros and other Mac desktops don’t have built-in microphones.

Yes, the other output sound interface I have works. That's really weird, hope it will be fixed.

BTW, Magic is amazing... I'm really new to video editing and all I can say it is pretty much intuitive and obviously powerful. Already bought a license!
