I haven't upgraded to Mojave yet. I was waiting to make sure I could still work on Magic once I upgraded.

Did anything at all change with how Magic works with Mojave? I've not updated yet either but I'm considering it.

Magic should work fine with it now, but unfortunately it doesn't fully support Mojave's new system-wide Dark Mode option. I realized that Dark Mode was causing Magic to slow down for some unknown reason. If Apple ever fixes it, I will reintroduce full Dark Mode support.
