I'm wondering how to make a video like this using Magic.
Is there a starter project file I can download and then just swap out the media (images) ?

Welcome to the forum. Short answer, no, not really. Long answer, from last week, can be found in this post: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1775

As artnik indicated, if you look in the Tutorials forum, you will see that there are some very relevant examples you can download, such as:
- viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1597
- viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1416
Also, if you download my PixelateGrid shader as I described in viewtopic.php?f=3&t=529#p8121, you can get a spectrum that looks like this:

@artnik I understand artists that slave away for many hours may not be willing to give away their work for free. However, I still think it would be beneficial to have a curated git repository that people can contribute towards if interested.
@Eric I found those two posts MOST helpful and after reading a bunch of material and experimenting in Magic, I'm getting some results that are close to what I was asking for. Thank you!
