Has anybody an idea how he made this flower growing effects from 1:50 to 2:05?

Ive done something similar with big fugs feedback plugin within Magic. Sometimes I'll combine that with the built in feedback effect. Thats my guess

Do you mean the trails-effect?

Oops, yea I meant trails. Im sure it can be created with just magic modules and not anything else. I looked at it again and it looks like maybe luma and trails. If I can find an example in one of my files, Ill post it for you.

Well, I have the fugs feedback and experimented with it and the trails long time. But I got no result that's like this. Now I 'll check out the combination with the luma. Thank you for help.

I'm still thinking about how this scenes are working. The last days I experimented a lot, but without a result. What are the basics? A kaleidoscoped image file?

To me it looks like he started with an image file or model of a sphere, and then scaled/translated/colored it according to volume, then added trails, and finally added kaleidoscope.
