Magic Music Visuals

Hey Party People,
here is a little installation I created.



I used mdf and laser cut stars and hearts from it, integrated LEDs into the stars and added projection mappings.
Animations are completely created in Magic. Mappings and LEDs are controlled with MadMapper.
I have showcased it on a couple of parties and burning man style events.
Everyone loved it, especially the awesome synchronization to the music was what amazed the audience.

The video contains way to many scenes for the 5 minute song, but this is just a showcase. Usually it runs through the night switching scenes every now and then.

I like that there are many scenes and its a great showcase. Despite that, you've got a very consistent aesthetic so the many scenes don't detract for me. Did you mask in Magic or MadMapper? LEDs are fabulous - give a nice diagonal bloom too.

Yes there are a lot of scene, but it is supposed to run the whole night.
So to not get boring more scene are better.
To showcase the full potential all scenes are crammed into a 5 minute video.
Usually each scene would last longer to also show the synchronization to the music better.

With masking you mean mapping the projections to the objects?
That is completely done in MadMapper.
