Magic Music Visuals

Hello,

I just started using your software and it seems awesome but I am completely flummoxed by a problem I’m experiencing. I bought this software to set visuals to music that i produce but i have been completely unable to get audio files to play. I set channels 0 and 1 to the corresponding audio file but get nothing. the play button depresses and then wont budge.

Im running the program on a mid 2011 iMac and an rme babyface audio interface with everything updated and what not. I’ve gone through the Manuel twice to no avail. I'm hoping that I’ve overlooked some simple step or solution.

Im pressed for time with this project and I’d be incredibly thankful for any and all advice.

Hmm, what device are you using for sound output in System Preferences? Have you tried using the iMac's built-in speakers? If not, try that, restart Magic, and let me know what happens.

wow, had a feeling i had overlooked something basic setting it built in input. This totally solved it. thank you for the prompt reply.
