Looking for a virtual MIDI control surface (on Windows)

I'd like a virtual MIDI control surface, to run under Windows (10) for an upcoming show which has ten songs.

I want to define an arbitrary selection of sliders and buttons, with text labels. Ideally I would be able to "page" these so that only controls appropriate to a particular song would be shown.

EDIT: Paging to be MIDI controlled from a sequencer (Ableton Live Intro)

Any ideas?

I've found these:
https://www.bluecataudio.com/Products/P ... teControl/ Can save/load presets. Blue Cats plugins are well done. This is a VST plugin, but you can convert it to a standalone version with Savihost http://www.hermannseib.com/english/savihost.htm. Savihost bank and presets can be recalled via midi.

http://feelyoursound.com/xotopad/ Works with touchscreens but only 4 pages

Thanks skarabee, both these look interesting - I'll check them out.

Another solution: DIY. You can buit a controller plugin with MUX http://www.mutools.com/mux-product.html
It's a modular thing, you can built synths, audio and midi processors. It works with virtual cables and modules, like our beloved Magic, and you can design your front user panel , map harware ins and outs. And it also can run standalone, thanks to Savihost.
Thank you for giving me the idea. I own a MUX license, so I can build a virtual midi controller and share the project file if needed. ;)

WOW!
MUX looks ideal as I can apparently get a unified interface that I can customise exactly as I choose.

I'll try a demo and confirm I can get it to do what I want.

Very many thanks for this skarabee :D

Yes you can do many things in both audio and midi domain. For example have a single knob or fader liked to many parameters, and you can alter those parameters with many things, including maths, modulators or audio. The perfect companion for Magic. I almost forget it, it was buried somewhere in my laptop but your post made me think of reusing this beast.

Thanks again, but I haven't managed to find a basic tutorial for MUX, and haven't yet managed to add a group of controls.
I'll carry on looking, but would appreciate a recommendation if you have one.

A little preset for you and a very basic "how to" in text file. Hope this will help you to start. If you have any question, I'll try to answer...
