Hi,
I was very lucky to see these features because handling and rearranging projects with scenes of my repository should now be easy.
But I stumbled accross a few problems.
First: When I first used "Save scene to project" I was thinking that this would add this scene to the existing project chosen. But instead all of the project was erased and this one scene only was in it. This is dangerous. The least should be an alert " do You really want to kill all scenes of the chosen project?" But of course I would rather prefer to have a real "save scene to project" which would just add the chosen scene to a chosen project and not touch any other scenes in this project.
Second: I now saved all of my scenes each in one new project. So I am able to create new projects and import all of the scenes I need. That seems to work fine. But there is one oddity I could not nail down: When changing scenes with a MIDI-command the tab moves on to the next scene but not what is shown on the screen. Here I still see the scene before. Nevertheless all MIDI-functions work as if the scene had changed. So in the MagicWindow everything looks and works fine. But on my workspace I see the wrong scene. If I change scenes with mouse clicks all is as expected.
I see that when changing scenes with MIDI the next tab gets highlighted. But the one before still is sort of half highlighted.
Any idea?
Best

Save Scene and import project problems
Re: Save Scene and import project problems
Hmm, well that's basically what it does... except that instead of adding it to an existing project, it adds it to a blank project with a new filename you specify. You definitely don't want to specify an existing project's filename (including the current one), because it will be overwritten... does that make sense?I would rather prefer to have a real "save scene to project" which would just add the chosen scene to a chosen project and not touch any other scenes in this project.
What MIDI command are you using? When changing scenes with a MIDI-command the tab moves on to the next scene but not what is shown on the screen
