Live Audio Input & Visuals - is it possible?

Hello, I've got a questions to do with Live music & Live Visuals

With my set up I usually play Ableton Live, is it possible to have the Visualiser synced up to the Audio even if its live music.

I essentially want to be able to project the Visuals from my computer, yet still be able to play live music and change the visualiser. I hope this is clear enough!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Of course it is possible. For this you will need a pair of virtual audio cable like those ones : http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Cable/

I am assuming you already have a midi controlle but if you don't, you should consider a virtual midi controller.
