Nice. I've been working on something like this for an interactive piece. Amazing what you can push Starfield to do with a little massaging.

I like the colourizing approach – that's a seriously elegant use of Trails. Makes me wish Starfield had depth cueing/distance fading, so you could reinforce the depth.

Thanks for posting the source – it was worth it to pickup that trails trick!
