Macbook pro radeon 4gb enough?

Hi!

I’m planning to buy a new Macbook pro with the radeon 4gb basic configuration.

Will it be enough or if I upgrade to the 8gb I will see a noticable better performance?

BTW I’m currently using an old macbook pro mid 2009...
Magic does not crash but It is super slow... :(

4GB of VRAM is pretty good. Unless you are doing crazy things with Magic, you probably won't get the benefit of 8GB.

That being said, it's always best if you can test the computer before you buy it by installing the Magic Demo on it. Then you can see how fast it runs.
