Very cool! Alongside several levels of animation, I also appreciate the use of just a bit of color to set off the gray/black layers.

That's really good. It's interesting to see the different uses for Magic besides music videos.

Wow! This is an excellent piece of work. Did you do all of the animations inside of Magic?

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Much appreciated especially since I lost my laptop on public transport yesterday. :(

Yes, completely animated in magic. There's about 10 layers which were isolated or redrawn in a vector package (xara designer if you're interested) then composed in a single scene. It took some time to select the right frequencies for the various reactive effects but I also got lucky with the way some bits came out.

There was one tricky bit with the iris that required some crafty masking to stop it popping out of the limits of the eyelids. I'll not give it away as it's a nice challenge for yall.
