HELP PLEASE! Video File won't display Open File Dialogue

I have tried reinstalling and installing multiple times. I just upgraded my video card and everything else on the software is working fine. When I Add>Media>Video File and then try to click on the choose file it does nothing at all. No display , no error. Like I said I have reinstalled, I have the correct video card drivers and everything else in the program is working. Can anyone help? I have a show tonight :0

YES YES YES!!!!! Thank you so much! Should almost be a pinned fix or something. My "lastFolderForVideoFile" was for a removable drive. I changed it to C: and it worked! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
