Image module don't seems to like all files. I attached a png file that i even tried to convert in different format and still show this error :
Invalid file:
"C:\Users\User\Downloads\autumn-160322_640.png"
Having a Bug/Report thread could be usefull, do you think so ?

Re: Trouble with image module
Hi,
I can load this image into both the image and video module with alpha intact without any difficulty.
XNView describes it as a Adobe Fireworks PNG with zip compression RGB 32bits.

Re: Trouble with image module
Yup, that image loads fine for me too.
I'm not really sure what the problem could be... what OS are you running?

Re: Trouble with image module
After more investigation here is what i found :
Tested on both magic (32bit and 64bit) on my windows 7 64bit. Its seems like the image wont be loaded if the path contains a more complex ascii character. So i was using my Girlfriend account for somewhat reason. Her name "Émilie" (I live in québec so we mainly talk french here) so anywhere any picture was loaded in her user folder didnt work because the "É" Char. So at soon as i change directory to anything without this chard did work like a charm. So i dont know if this trouble will happen on other character but at least we found the source !
Thank you guys !

Re: Trouble with image module
Hmm that's interesting -- it could be a bug. Thanks for the extra information, I will check it out.
Re: Trouble with image module
Same behavior here. Windows 10 64-bit.
Image module breaks when using long-dashes (like – or —) on image path.

Re: Trouble with image module
This will be fixed in the next release .
