performance at the Open R Berg 2016

the Open R Berg (say open-air bear-g) is a small (~200) people openair festival which we organize ourselves, and at the end perform as well as Britney Spears II (:D), I'm the guy on the left and make the visuals, my two friends dj the music.

The recording isnt optimal visual-wise, as it's too small and also the projector is a bit in the way. Anyway I tried to make the best of it with a partial brightness and contrast correction and I hope you can see some magic magic .

important: the first 3 songs were arranged, the rest is improvized, both music and visuals wise .

god... seems like the copyright claims are settling in. as it's djing we naturally play music that legally belongs to other people. i actually wanted to upload it on to my vimeo account, umfortunately, free accounts are quite limited in terms of file size.

ill see where else i can upload this 12gb file .


\\edit XD i got about 30 copyright claims on youtube and the audio got muted anyway. i guess ill have to look for an alternative.

OVERALL
Changes - not enough
Reactivity - not enough - perhaps levels a bit too low?
Music - great bit gentle for me
Chain smoking on stage
Was cameraman bopping or tripod stood next to a speaker?

smoking.. yeah.. i know. was a bit nervous , and we're all friends there so it's not like AA professional anyway.

the cam was positionned in a box which was screwed into the roof, which apparently was vibrating because of the subwoofers .

not enough changes: yes i had too little material, but i will build up onto this.

not enough reactivity: i was working mostly with the beat and playing image sequences timed to the music, and pressing buttons manually, so that might be on purpose :S.

which one do you mean by circle with notch?

and the beer throwing... yea.. only closely missed the projector. i think someone didnt like that we brought up trump stuff, even though we thought it was clear that we made him more rediculous than anything else.

yeah they could rent a really good PA system this year .
