Live output streaming to Internet?

Post by unify »

Great program, I'm having fun creating.

My goal is to use the visuals, along with live music, and stream to the Internet (Hangouts on Air, Concert Window, etc). I'm confused as how to accomplish this.

Currently, I stream a webcam and some non-webcam audio via Adobe Flash Live Media Encoder. Instead, I'd like to stream Music Visualizer's output instead. However, Music Visualizer doesn't show up as a video input in FMLE.

I've read about Spout (I'm on a PC), but can't figure out how to use it to route the output of Music Visualizer to FMLE.

I've read through the manual, and spent some time in the forum. Any suggestions?

Thanks, in advance!

Hey Keith, I think what you need is the full Spout installation: http://spout.zeal.co/download-spout/

It comes with a virtual webcam called "SpoutCam".

All you have to do is activate Spout output in Magic, and then select SpoutCam as your webcam in FLME (or any other program that can use a webcam as input).

Let me know if it helps.
