Apparently there is a screen-recording function built-in to the operating system which I didn't know about. I haven't tested it, so I'm not sure if it's better than NVidia's ShadowPlay (http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience/shadowplay).
To me, the most interesting part is the screenshot keyboard shortcut (Alt+Win+Print Screen), which saves the screenshot to an image file automatically, instead of requiring it to be pasted into Photoshop or something. Much better!
Of course, the best way to create videos in Magic is to use the File > Export Movie function, but it doesn't work for live interaction, so the above method may be a good alternative solution.
