I don't see any place to report bugs or crashes, but I hear it is. The program crashes fairly frequently on my new M4 Mac Mini with the most recent OS, 15.5. I have 24GB of RAM.
I typically run the Magic concurrently with the following apps: Studio One Pro (DAW), Ecamm Live (live streaming software), and Loopback for audio routing.
I don't really feel comfortable sharing my crash report here. There should be a way to get tech support privately
Totally get you, crashes are super frustrating, especially when juggling multiple heavy apps like Studio One and Ecamm Live. On my M1 Mac, I had similar issues until I updated some drivers and limited running too many apps at once. I agree, there really should be a dedicated, private support channel for crash reports. Maybe try checking if the developer has an email or a support forum where you can send logs securely? Sharing crash reports publicly isn’t great either.
It goes to an admin address, which I have most frequently used for assistance with licensing, but my message was forwarded. to tech support and I received helpful answers.
Probably a good idea to specify the same email address as you used for the MMV purchase.
Thanks for the advice. I figured out a way to prevent Magic from crashing—load it after Ecamm. It seems to work fine in that case, but before Ecamm? No dice. @Terry, I'll try your method of contacting support. Thanks
