Audio Output Not Going Through Headphone Jack

I am using the input window to load an audio track. I need a video to play with the audio from it and it will be directed through FOH during shows. For some reason the track plays but it plays at full volume even with the sound turned all the way down on my computer and will not play through the headphone jack, only the MacBook's speakers. Does anyone know how to fix this so that we can play it through house speakers?

So I just loaded a WAV file in for the audio file and it seems to be working. Is there a way to trigger both the video and the audio at the same time?
